Gift Service 6th December 2020
This year Ashby Wesley are asking for gifts and toys which will be donated to the Salvation Army to distribute and gifts of food which will be donated to the Forge. Gifts and toys (suitable for 0-18 year olds) must be new and in original packaging, not gift wrapped. The Forge require, coffee and sugar, long-life milk, tinned meat, peas, carrots, tinned fruit, rice pudding, black bin liners, anti-bacterial spray, toiletries and laundry liquid. If you prefer you can also donate cash. We would also like to put together some small ‘hampers’ for people we may know that have no family or are not able to see their family this Christmas.
Please note that there will be someone at Church to receive gifts on Saturday 5th December 13:00-14:00. We will operate a drop off service, enter the car park and approach the rear of the church at the electric sliding doors.
Gifts may also be brought to Church from 09:30 on the 6th December.
Due to the pandemic we can only accept gifts on Sunday 6th December, the Church will be open from 9:30am for people who wish to donate and are not attending church that morning. There will be tables at the front entrance where gifts can be left and for those people who cannot manage steps gifts can be also left at the rear entrance. We may be able to arrange for gifts to be collected from those people who are shielding.
